香 水 ―― Perfume ―― 
ニューヨークの豪壮なビル、若く美しい女性が高価な香水の匂いをぷんぷんさせてエレベーターに乗りこんだ。そこにはすでに 年配の婦人が乗っていた。
若い女性は年配の婦人に向かって尊大な口調で「ラルフ・ローレン、オンス150ドルなの」と言った。
次の階でもう一人、若い美人が香水の匂いを振りまきながら乗ってきた。彼女も横柄な口調で婦人に言った。「シャネルの５番、オンス200ドルよ」
３階ほど下がって自分の行き先に着いた年配の婦人はエレベーターを降りがけに、二人の美女を見回しながら、前かがみになって放つと
「ブロッコリ、オンス931ドル。あたしのが一番高い」と言って、出て行った。

About three floors later, the old woman has reached her destination and is about to get off the elevator. Before she leaves, she looks both beautiful women in the eye, then bends over and farts and says, "Broccoli - 49 cents a pound!"
